Roman Experience

Date: 27th Jun 2017 Author: Scout Websites

Sixty Beaver Scouts from 8th Chester, 18th Chester, 40th Chester, 1st Saltney, 1st Saughall and Cestrian raided the city centre on Sunday 25 June. Beavers had the opportunity to train as a Roman soldier, they scouted around the city walls on a picture trail and the day concluded with an invasion of the Grosvenor Museum. It was a day of adventure for all!

Special thanks to the leaders and helpers who made the day such a success.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
