Gang Show 2027, our 70th platinum jubilee production

Gang Show mission statement

Letter from the Producer – September 2026

16 – 20 February, 2027 – Vanbrugh Theatre, King’s School, Chester CH4 7QL

Registration Day
There will be a fun registration day on the afternoon of  Sunday, 20 September for everyone who wants to be a part of GS2027 (Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer or Network member), whether as part of the Gang on stage or in the various off-stage roles/departments. There will be no other separate registrations, and everyone must complete a registration form, so that we can be more compliant and inclusive and will help with communications via OSM. It will also identify earlier any areas for focused recruitment.

The registration day event is not a rehearsal but a fun afternoon to meet and greet, have some refreshments and a few games etc along the way. We shall also have a short 20-minute presentation at the start for everyone, including parents, to share information specifically relating to GS2027. If you are unable to attend on Sunday 20 September, please complete a registration form and return it as soon as possible, preferably by email, to either Keith Harding ([email protected]) or Donna Traynor ([email protected]).

  • Sunday 20 September from 3.30pm to 5.00pm
  • 1st Upton-by-Chester, The Arkell Centre, 89 Upton Grange, Upton Dene, Chester CH2 1BG
  • Non-uniform
  • Please bring completed registration form, if not already returned by email

Gang Show Camp
Another date for your diary: 10/ 11 October at Tattenhall Outdoor Education Centre, for all registered Gang members/helpers of Scout age and above. Full details will follow, but we will once again be incorporating a Junior Gang activity day on Saturday, 10 October, specifically as an event to integrate the Beavers and Cubs (Junior Gang).

Auditions for the Senior Gang will be held during the camp, and it is expected that all Senior Gang members attend this event, it’s great fun!
