Chester and District Youth Forum

Scouting is a Movement led by young people, where their needs and aspirations can be identified and met by what we do in our programme.

To help this to continue to develop as quickly as possible, there is a Chester and District Youth Forum.

The Forum:

• Provides a voice for all young people within Chester and District at an influential level, including at the District Trustee Board
• Truly represents the views of the Scout Network, Explorer Scouts and older Scouts within the District
• Takes responsibility for special projects or activities as requested by the District Lead Volunteer and/or the District Trustee Board (proposals for action from the Forum are strongly encouraged)
• Provides active support for and involvement in the media and public relations work of Chester and District
