Chief Scout’s Gold Awards

Date: 1st Sep 2012 Author: Scout Websites

A successful Awards presentation was held at the Parr Hall in Warrington on Sunday 4 November with 47 Scouts from Chester and District being recognised for their success in earning their Gold Awards, in common with Scouts from all the Cheshire Districts. The Chief Commissioner for England, Tim Kidd, presented the certificates and gave a talk on how we should be proud of our young people and not afraid of them as the media often portrays.
We will arrange for those recipients from Chester who were unable to be there to receive their special certificates at a later date. Congratulations all round!
