The winners were 1st Waverton and 18th Chester (Sharks) and Malpas B were the runners up. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals were awarded for each event and these went to Cubs from eight of the Packs. A team will represent the District at the County Gala at Woolston on 17 November and it’s expected that this will be made up of Cubs from at least seven of the packs.

Alan Wilding sends his thanks to the team for organising the Gala:
June Hughes, Alex Davies, Chris Owens and Dave Evans; to Jo Turner for helping Alex with the scoring and their assistants Jack Hartley (1st Saltney) and Toby Davies (1st Waverton). Thanks also to the time keepers provided from the Packs without whom we would not have completed the Gala in the allotted hour and finally to Jackie Hickey, Baths Manager, and her team for allowing us to host the Gala at the City Baths.
